pdf2image.online ("we", "us", "the Service") provides an online tool that converts PDF files into images, and a paid desktop application for Windows. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the website, the converter, or buy the desktop app.
Files you upload
When you use the online converter, your PDF is sent to our server, converted into images, and returned to you as a ZIP file. We process your file only to perform the conversion you requested. We do not store your PDF or the resulting images. The file is held in memory during conversion and discarded once your download is ready; we do not keep copies, read the contents, or share them with anyone.
If your documents are highly sensitive, we recommend the desktop app, which converts files entirely on your own computer and never uploads anything.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which pages are viewed and roughly where traffic comes from). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited.

Payment information
Purchases of the desktop app are processed by Stripe. When you buy, you enter your payment details directly with Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We receive limited information from Stripe such as your email address and whether the payment succeeded, which we use to deliver your download and provide support.
How we use information
- To convert your PDF and deliver the result.
- To process your purchase and provide your download link.
- To respond to support requests.
- To understand and improve how the site is used (analytics, with your consent).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded files for any purpose other than the conversion you requested.
Third parties we share with
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Service:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Analytics — website analytics (only with your consent).
These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not otherwise sell, rent or trade your information.
Data retention
Uploaded files are not retained — they are deleted as soon as conversion is complete. Payment records are retained by Stripe and by us only as long as needed for support, accounting and legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of analytics. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email us at support@pdf2image.online and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and during processing. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
